Thank you for considering the Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service as the venue for your function. We have a great venue for a wedding, conference, Christmas party or birthday party.

Centre Hire Charges (Current as at 1/2/2010)
Main Function Hall
Day Functions (9am - 5pm) $300
Day and Evening Functions (9am - 12 midnight) $900
Kitchen Facilities
- Kitchen facilities available for the duration of your function.
- Stoves (2), commercial dishwasher, hot water zip (on wall in kitchen), 2 fridges, microwave (1), 3 sinks & plenty of bench space & storage space.
- NO Crockery, Cutlery, linen or kitchen equipment is provided.
Bar
The Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service is fully licensed and we offer full bar service for all functions. Please note:
- The bar is managed by a club appointed employee. They have sole discretion on all matters pertaining to the organisation of the bar, including the number of bar staff required for each function.
- The cost of bar staff is additional to the venue hire charge. Bar staff are currently charged at $25.00 per hour, per person for the duration of the function.
- Breakages, including glasses or damaged items will be charged to the hirer.
Additional Services:
Sun Shades (Subject to weather)
- Labour Weekend to Easter - there are sunshades over the deck.
- After Easter and before Labour weekend - the sun shades can be set up by prior arrangement, a fee will be charged for this service.
Stainless Steel Patio Heaters
- The Mount Maunganui Lifeguard Service has 2 Outdoor stainless steel gas patio heaters available for hire. The cost for using these heaters (including gas) is $40.00 per heater.
